Fish Embroidered White Cotton Handkerchiefs

Plain white cotton, with a speckled blue fish worked in the corner in coloured thread. Green reeds, a pale stone and short strokes of blue for the water sit behind it. The rest of the square is left plain, so the embroidery shows only when the handkerchief is folded and held in the hand.
